I would not hesitate to recommend NWRA to anyone. The staff is friendly and well trained. The best aspect is that they listen. If you are having a hard day, they adjust your therapy to meet your needs. Great experience!

Mike Studer worked with me to resolve a serious drop foot problem over the last quarter of 2017. Mike analyzed the problem peerlessly, despite some skepticism on my part, and then got me on the road to recovery with a slate of customized exercises to be done by me over periods of 7-10 days, after each of which we reviewed progress and made ongoing adaptations to my exercise routine. In 2-3 months I had progressed to where I "graduated," and the challenge was fully resolved. Mike is highly organized, thorough, knowledgeable, and understanding. I recommend him without reservation.

Due to my slow progressing Parkinson's diagnosis about 6 years ago, I looked into a rehabilitation program designed specifically for me. . I've been working with the Northwest Rehab Associates now for about three years. The very first thing I remember about meeting Mike Studer was a sturdy handshake, a welcoming smile, and a can do attitude that I liked immediately. What attracts me still today is I know that after my scheduled workout exercises, I will feel invigorated, have more energy, and a better sense of balance. My wife is working directly under Mike Studer's care. This gentleman along with his staff are top notch. They don't just put you on a bike or a machine and say okay get better. Mike is so knowledgeable on so many levels and with so many different ailments. He dissects what is going on and approaches your therapy from all sides. I worked directly with Mike Studer during my recovery from two separate knee replacement surgeries, the second one in 2017. Mike's expertise and compassion made all the difference in my recovery. He was patient yet persistent, and with his time and attention I recovered my range of motion and was restored to a normal gait. Mike is highly professional and yet very personable, and his staff understand and implement his high standards. I can't recommend Northwest Rehabilitation Associates highly enough.

If you happen to have Parkinson;s disease (PD), this is the best place to go in town. Unique in offering a variety of very low-cost classes on a weekly basis for PD including classes on Balance, Power, Flexibility, Thinking Big when moving and talking, and boxing for PD. They host a monthly MS support group and also offer generic classes on gentle chair yoga and Tai Chi. An absolutely exceptional physical therapy site!

The best PT in Salem. I've been several to other pt clinics in town and this place had the best care. You see a real PT not just an assistant. Very gentle staff.
